General Methanol LLC is developing methane-gas-to-liquid-methanol technology for the energy and industrial chemicals markets. This includes novel processes that eradicate methane greenhouse gas by conversion to its liquid methanol form for use as biofuel for energy-independence from foreign oil. The new technology under development offers the promise of providing low cost, liquid transportation fuel and clean fuel cell energy from a nearly inexhaustible supply of low cost natural gas, including long term use of the world’s untapped methane hydrate reserves beneath the ocean floor.
